Summary

Social Shoreline takes a minimal approach: we do not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or social-media tracking cookies. You will not see a cookie banner for third-party marketing because those technologies are not used here.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files a website may place on your device. Similar technologies include local storage keys. This policy explains what we use and what we deliberately avoid.

Cookies We Do Not Use

We do not deploy Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok, Hotjar, or comparable trackers. We do not load third-party ad networks or cross-site profiling scripts. Session replay and fingerprinting tools are absent.

localStorage (Age Confirmation)

When you confirm you are 18+ and in Canada, we write ssl_ok to localStorage on your device. The value indicates only that you passed the gate; it stays on your machine, is not shared with us, and is not used to track you across other websites.

In-Memory Game Data

While you play, virtual credits, hands, reels, and round history live in page memory (React state). That information is not saved to cookies, localStorage, or our servers. Closing or refreshing the tab clears it.

Essential Technical Data

Your browser and our hosting may process standard connection logs (such as IP address and user-agent) for security and delivery of static files. We do not combine those logs with advertising profiles on this site.

Managing Storage

You can delete ssl_ok by clearing site data or local storage for socialshoreline.com in your browser settings. You will see the age gate again on your next visit. Blocking all storage may prevent the site from remembering your confirmation.

Updates

If our storage practices change we will update this page. Check back periodically for the current description.
